oneSTore to boosts MSMEs products nationwide

In an effort to assist and boost the products of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in reaching the global market, a two-day orientation-workshop on oneStore was conducted last February 29 and March 1 at the Department of Science and Technology 1.
oneSTore is an eCommerce platform initiated by DOST Secretary Mario G. Montejo and conceptualized and developed by DOST 2. This provides customers with an effortless shopping experience and retailers with simple and direct access to the largest customer base in the country.
DOST scholars undergo capability building

Pimentel, a second year mechanical engineering scholar of Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University- Mid La Union Campus during the Capability Building and Stress Management activity for ongoing undergraduate scholars of the Department of Science and Technology- Science Education Institute held at barangay Nivaliw Vidal, San Fabian, Pangasinan on February 25, 2016.
DOST-R1 conforms to ISO-9001:2008

Aiming to sustain the delivery of services among its customers, the Quality Management System of the Department of Science and Technology in region 1 was audited and found once again conforming with the requirements of the ISO 9001:2008.
In the Audit Surveillance held on February 11 and 12, 2016, at the DOST I, it was shown that the QMS of DOST continuously support its delivery of services in science and technology transfer, S & T information promotion and advocacy, and scholarships.

Engr. Nacario is one of the 3,935 out of 9,482 examinees who passed the Civil Engineer Licensure Examination given by the Board of Civil Engineering last November 2015.
