Technology Trainings on capability upgrading is one of the innovation support services provided at the firm level, in addition to those conducted for interested groups and individuals.

Trainings were conducted in the areas of wood finishing and preservation, good manufacturing practices, food fortification, fruit processing, product branding and simple recording and bookkeeping to our SET-UP and GIA project cooperators. On the other hand, trainings on mushroom production, wrought iron forming, soap making, handmade paper making, meal management were provided to students, teachers, food caterers, nutrition action offices and other interested groups and individuals throughout the region.

Moreover, trainings on ICT like website development and office productivity are conducted for the academe, government and non-government organizations. Trainings on calibration of weighing scales were also provided to local government units.  Institutional trainings like Food Safety, Cleaner Production and Energy Audit are also being undertaken.

Trainings are by request. Interested party may write DOST-1 a request letter addressed to the Regional Director.
